John Neitzel is a New York City Fine Art Photographer experimenting with new ways of seeing
As a fine art photographer, my desire is to capture images that convey a feeling of what I felt when I was experiencing that particular moment. I’m concentrating upon the details, elements, light and color found in nature and man-made environments. I strive to capture the essence of something beautiful while celebrating light. The double exposures seen here are made in camera with a random combination of Japanese elements. As a fine art photographer, I see the buildings in New York City as overwhelming and intimidating. But also a steady stream of patterns that lend themselves to computer manipulation, cutting, flipping and flopping which creates geometric patterns of order.
Here’s a short video of clouds that I shot and edited.
